Difficult presence-detection tasks that formerly required
multiple conventional photoelectric or proximity sensors can now be tackled
with the IV Series vision sensor from Keyence. The IV offers a choice of close,
medium, or long-range cameras and eight different sensor heads, along with a
high-performance quad lens and high-intensity illumination to produce sharp,
clear, stable images.
You can use the IV vision sensor for a broad range of manufacturing applications in the semiconductor, automotive, and electronics industries. Built-in features include automatic one-touch focus and brightness adjustment to ease setup. The vision sensor's housing has an IP67 rating, enabling it to operate safely in dusty or wet environments.
The IV's Navigator software allows fast setup with any PC. By simply following the steps on the screen, operational setup can be completed in less than a minute. Multiple master and defective object images can be taken, with pass/fail judgment attached, to enable automatic optimization of thresholds and parameters.
